چکیده

The nuclear level density (NLD) and $\ensuremath{\gamma}$-ray strength function ($\ensuremath{\gamma}\mathrm{SF}$) of $^{63}\mathrm{Ni}$ have been investigated using the Oslo method. extracted NLD is compared with previous measurements particle evaporation those found from neutron resonance spacing. $\ensuremath{\gamma}\mathrm{SF}$ was to feature a strong low-energy enhancement that could be explained as $M1$ based on large-scale shell model calculations. Comparison $\ensuremath{\gamma}\mathrm{SFs}$ measured method for various $\mathrm{Ni}$ isotopes reveals systematic changes below $5\phantom{\rule{0.222222em}{0ex}}\mathrm{MeV}$ increasing mass.

STUDY OF NUCLEAR LEVEL DENSITY AND SPIN CUT-OFF FACTORS

Nuclear level densities and spin cut-off factors have been deduced for nuclei in the mass region 24‹A‹63,from a microscopic theory, which includes nuclear pairing interaction. Single particle levels for both Seeger and Nilsson potentials were used in the calcdations. Level densities extracted from the theory are compared with their conesponding experimental values, It is found that the overall...

Measurements of Nuclear Level Densities and Γ-ray Strength Functions and Their Interpretations

A method to extract primary γ-ray spectra from particle-γ coincidences at excitation energies up to the neutron binding energy is described. From these spectra, the level density and γ-ray strength function can be determined. From the level density, several thermodynamical quantities are obtained within the microcanonical and canonical ensemble. Also models for the γ-ray strength function are d...
